Yuri Traisman’s exhibition projects included the publication of two fundamental volumes, the exhibition catalogue Forbidden Art. Postwar Soviet Avant-garde Artists, about unofficial art of the 1960s – 1990s, and Ode to Joy. Russian Porcelain in the Yuri Traisman Collection.
Leading foreign and Russian specialists were involved in compiling the collection catalogue and contributed several crucial articles (see Researchers page). As both publications have become bibliographical rarities, they are posted on this page for the benefit of online museum visitors.
A special brochure was also published for the “Ode to Joy” exhibition at the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow to explain the exhibition concept and the main principles guiding Yuri Traisman in collecting Russian and Soviet porcelain.
