Yuri Traisman’s Virtual Museum of Russian Art marks a new stage in the collecting efforts and civilizational mission of the world-renown lover of art. The Honorary Member of Russian Academy of Arts, Yuri Traisman takes credit for 11 large-scale exhibitions, scholarly publications, and numerous lectures and master classes at museums and universities in the U.S., Europe and Russia. The Virtual Museum is designed to implement new exhibition and research projects and rekindle and heighten interest in Russian art of the twentieth century.

With its rich collection and ready-for-display exhibition projects, supplied with explications and catalogues, the Yuri Traisman Fund of Russian Art invites museums and galleries to cooperate in organizing new exhibitions. The Fund is willing to lend artworks from its unique collection for display and publication.

In addition to works from the Yuri Traisman collection (annotated in detail), the site provides extensive research data, including the artists’ biographies, bibliography on the main themes of the collection, papers published by the Fund and lists of researchers. The Virtual Museum enables broad use of this plentiful resource (with due acknowledgement).
