Josif Spinar (1886–1942), a Czech glass designer, who came to the Gusevsky Cut Glass Factory from Austria in 1910 (1911?), was the leading Gallé style glassmaker at the Gusevsky Factory. He made numerous glassware designs, including pieces decorated with the use of deep-etch method.
