1957

Russia, Gusevsky Cut Glass Factory (?), 1957

Uncolored glass with manganese coloring, deep etching, diamond cutting

Height 20.3 cm (8")

The vase was made in commemoration of the 50 th anniversary of the Russian Revolution. The original design most probably dated back to 1947, when the 800 th anniversary of the foundation of Moscow was marked, and proved suitable for another anniversary.
