Inscriptions: Cyrillic initials ‘ЧФ [Черноморский флот]’ for the Black Sea Fleet [ChF Chernomorskijj flot] in gilt on the sailor’s shoulder insignia.
Marks: underside: Mark ‘9’ in blue; mark ‘16’ in red; ‘116’ in blue overglaze; ‘3’ or letter ‘З’ incised in paste near foot
